1 Year Anniversary

Okay so Josh and I are having our 1 year anniversary next month on the 22nd and I am at a loss for what to do. We thought about getting away for a couple of days but I just don't think it is going to work out with our schedules. So I am coming to all of you hoping that you guys are full of clever ideas on what we can do to celebrate being married for a year. Any help would be great! Thanks.

I can't be much help here, for our 1-yr. anniversary we had a garage sale. But, I thought it could be fun if you baked cupcakes and then fed them to each other like with wedding cake - get right in there!

OK, you could do a night at a fun hotel (Castle Creek Inn for example), go to a fancy restaurant that you have never been before and get all dressed up, do a day of activities: Boondocks, movies, mini golf, bowling, arcades, etc., go to Bear Lake and rent wave runners (you could make it a day instead of a weekend thing), or maybe go to Park City or Snowbird and do some of the activites they have there... Just off the top of my head of course!

I think you should pack a picnic dinner, take it to a perfect viewing spot (near water, on a hill, in the middle of a grass field) and sit there together doing nothing but reflecting on the past year and snuggling. Watch the sunset, moon rise, and stars come out. And don't forget to take the dog!
