So to celebrate for our one year anniversary Josh and I decided to stay in town and just do some fun things around here to help save money. So Friday we went to Raging Waters for some water park fun. It was a lot of fun and so refreshing because it was a pretty warm day.
After that we went to dinner at Applebee's and then to see the movie Get Smart. (If you are looking for a funny movie, this is a great one) That pretty much sums up Friday.
Saturday we drove to Park City and stayed in the same hotel we stayed at last year on our wedding night. We did a lot of shopping and swimming. I think the best part about Park City was when we went to Olympic Park and rode their zipline. I was so scared at first. But it turned out to be a blast!!
For my gift Josh got me the new Stephanie Meyer book and he bought me an ice cream maker. So it was a great first year anniversary celebration.

1 Year Anniversary

So we made it to our one year anniversary mark. I just wanted to say how much I love Josh and how grateful I am to have such a wonderful, caring husband. I don't know if I could of found anyone more perfect for me. So here is to a lot more years together. I love you Josh!!!

Weekend Recap

So this weekend has been a fun and eventful one. On Friday I got to take my nieces to Wheeler Farm for a free kids day. We had a lot of fun there. They got to see all sorts of fun animals and then they got to ride on this little train. It's always a lot of fun to take these little girls out.

On Saturday after work my family was getting together for a Father's Day BBQ at Sugarhouse park. That was all a great time but after we ate my sisters and I were getting kind of bored and looking for something to entertain us so we thought it would be funny to play some games we played as kids. So we started by playing truth or dare, that got old after a bit so we then decided to move onto a game called Statues. This is where you spin someone and however they land they have to freeze that way. So I spun them and then was taking one of my sisters around to "shop" for a statue. We got to my oldest sister Amber and she was kind of in a stink bug position only facing upwards. So I described her statue as a bug that fell over on it's back. But as I was explaining this I looked down and right where her butt was I noticed a big piece of poop laying there. I just lost it at this point and laughed so hard. Well she finally realized what was going on and she freaked out. She had it all over the back of her and up and down her whole arm. Needless to say I doubt we will play that game anymore but it was SOOOOO funny!!

Good News!!

Josh got a new job!! This is great news and we are so excited. He will now be working at a place called Heritage Web Solutions. He will be in charge of updating web pages for companies. This is more the area he is looking to go into long term. The only down side is that he now has quite a commute to work but I guess you have to make some sacrifices for the right job. Good Job Josh!!

Summer Plans

Well I know I haven't blogged in a little while but life has gotten pretty monotonous and I haven't felt like I have much to blog about, so I decided to steal the idea from some of you and write about things we are looking forward to coming up.

* Our one year anniversary is this month and we have some very fun things planned to do.

* The American Idol concert next month that I get to go to. (Sorry Josh)

* A nice trip to Missouri to see family sometime this summer. Hopefully we can manage to stay a week or so this time.

* The weather hopefully warming up so we can do some camping.

* Going to Lagoon in August for our work party.

* Josh taking me to learn how to scuba dive.

* The next Twilight book coming out soon. (okay this one is just for me, not so much Josh)

Well these are a few things we are looking forward to. I sure hope you all have some fun things planned for your summer. Hopefully I can start posting some fun things again with fun pictures.
